We started weening Miles off of the bottle shortly after we were given the clear to start him on whole milk. With the help of our daycare provider, it didn't take long before Miles stopped looking/crying for the bottle when he wanted milk. Even though he's been a sippy cup guy for the last three weeks or so, we hadn't packed up the bottles until this weekend. I'm not sure what I was waiting for but boy am I happy we no longer need those things.
I'm ecstatic that Miles is off the bottle but very sad too. It's just one more reminder that he's growing way too fast.

Nice work!! We are still working on it with Brooke. Do you have any advise, which worked really well you could give? Did you need to take out the rubber stopper at first until he learned to suck hard enough? Miles is just a little rock star! :) Very cute pictures.
