Mike says I have a problem. I write and post way too much on this blog. It's only the fourth day of 2011 and I've already written 11 posts, this being the 12th, plus I have two 2010 posts to write. The man may be on to something.
I write because I've been a terrible mom. Miles has a beautiful baby book - two to be exact - and I've only opened one of them maybe five times (and that's being generous). His entire 18 months has been archived on this blog. The pictures, stories, memories - everything. So why would I stop now? Instead of spending hours creating scrapbooks, I spend hours writing and posting pictures. One day I hope to pull everything together into a printed book.
That leads me to what this post is really about: Happy New Year! Four days late isn't too bad, right?
After our Christmas tour, we had a pretty low key NYE. We went to our neighbor's house for an hour or two and then headed home to put Miles to bed around 8 pm. The poor kid was pooped and frankly, so were we. We tried our best to be "adults" and stay up to watch the ball drop, but 15 minutes before the big countdown, we crashed. Oh well. There's always 2012.
BTW, I have no idea how many people read the blog and honestly, if no one did, I'd keep posting. However, those that do, I love reading comments - hint, hint ;)

Whew...I am glad to hear I'm not the only person. I keep thinking I need to print my blog out, and paste it in Brooke's baby book. I think I have only opened her book twice!!
I always read the blog and love hearing all about Miles! I wish I had the time to do it because like you I'm not very good at writing in their baby books.
