There's nothing like waking up Christmas morning to find mounds of presents under the tree and finding out Santa gave you exactly what you wanted.
Miles couldn't believe his eyes when he found his very own baby piano waiting for him Christmas morning. It took him a few seconds to realize he was awake and the piano was really there. He ran to it and tried opening it and then looked to me to peel the plastic wrap off of it. Once it was open, he played a few jingles and then let Daddy give it a try (but only for a couple minutes) while he moved on to unwrapping the other presents. *If I have time to post the video of Miles and his piano, I will.
Caleb and Cody were at my parents house Christmas morning too, so almost all of the boys were there when they woke up to open presents. Anthony, John and Tia joined us a little later. Santa gave Caleb a new bike and brought Cody a pillow pet. Cody was a tad tired (and crabby) and took a nap with his new friend soon after all the presents were opened. Caleb, on the other hand, was ready to try out the nerf gun Miles gave him for Christmas.
Miles was one happy guy Christmas morning. His smile grew bigger and bigger with each present he opened. He was ecstatic when he opened the bag of Mega Blocks. He couldn't help but unzip the bag and start building a tower but it didn't take long for him to remember he still had other gifts to open.
Whether you needed help or not, Miles offered his unwrapping services to you. Papa seemed to need the most help. Every time Papa had a gift in his hands, Miles was quick to assist.
Santa didn't forget Nana either. He brought my mom a picture of my great grandparents that was taken at her and my dad's wedding reception. She teared up when she realized what it was.
When John, Tia and Anthony arrived they were ready to join in the fun. Tony wasn't sure what to do with the wrapping paper. He was happy looking at it but Miles ran to the rescue and showed him how to pull it off. Just like at the Tedeschi's house, my parents had three tornadoes spin through the house.
