Is it wrong that Mike and I find pure enjoyment watching our son make a terrible mess while eating? Miles is Mr. Independent and 95% of the time refuses to eat if we help him. So, we let him do it himself. There's nothing clean about a 16-month-old feeding himself and if Miles doesn't care if he's messy, then we don't either.
