Halloween was bitter sweet. My baby girl celebrated her first Halloween without me. The college course I teach was Thursday evenings in the fall and Halloween happened to fall on a Thursday. Canceling was out of the question, so Mike was a single dad and in charge of costumes and trick-or-treating.
Thankfully, I was able to dress the kids for their daycare party. Getting a picture of them together was pretty much mission impossible. Miles was Spider-Man for Halloween, but he wanted to wear his alien costume from last year again for the party.
