Dear 2013,
No offense, but you were not my favorite. You were extremely frustrating and I'm certain that we were very rarely, if ever, on the same page. Every time I turned around you were throwing a curve ball my way. I'm not sure we ever saw eye-to-eye. As much as I'd love to say I'll miss you, I hope there's no hard feelings when I say adios.
The year had such an overcast on it, that's it really is hard to remember the good days. It seemed like every good moment was flanked by something bad. You refused to go out quietly too — as I was fighting the stomach bug while the clock ticked down to 2014's arrival.
I wish I could say that I'll miss you. We did celebrate Melina's first birthday with you after all. But, I think we're better off going our separate ways. Thank you for visiting. Best of luck to you.
