Ta Da...The Nursery!

For months, people have been asking Mike and I about the nursery. I didn't want to post pictures until we were finished and now everything is up and ready to go. The only thing missing is the rocker/glider (long story) which will go in the corner on the side of the crib where the tree is on the wall. The room is very calming/soothing or at least Mike and I think it is. Hopefully the Lil' Bean will agree.

Drum roll please...here is our baby's room.

This is what you see as you enter the bedroom.
Mike and I painted the tree on the wall.
The idea came from a Pottery Barn Kids magazine.

Here's more of a close-up of the tree.

If we had a rocker, this is what you would see if you were sitting in it
(the dresser, door, bookshelf unit and closet). Mike made the bookshelf unit.
It fits perfectlyinto an area that was originally wasted space.

The dresser will serve as the changing table. The three pictures above
the dresser are from eeBoo. I have the entire alphabet but chose to use CDE.
The three pictures together create a scene.
