Mike and I haven't even started thinking about potty training Miles but tonight, he was running around naked and started to pee on our bathroom floor. I picked him up, sat him on the toilet and wa-la, he finished peeing. He was so proud of himself. When Mike came into the room, Miles took him into the bathroom, pointed at the toilet and said "pee-pee" with a big smile on his face.
There's no doubt in our minds that we still have months of diapers ahead of us but at least we know Miles isn't afraid to give the potty a try.

That's great! Start rewarding him ad nauseum.. Lily was potty trained at 16 months, basically because she all of a sudden gave it a try and we showered on all the good stuff for anything potty related.. Sitting on it for practice, telling us ahead of time even if she wet her diapers. Anything - reward it! You may be out of diapers sooner than you know, and GOODNESS, it's worth it!
