What do you see? I see a baby who loves reading me!
Miles has a new favorite book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? by Bill Martin Jr and illustrated by Eric Carle. The minute you start reading it, he stops and runs toward you ready and eager to listen as you read. At the end he signs "more" and listens as you read what brown bear, red bird, yellow duck, green frog, blue horse, purple cat, white dog, black sheep and gold fish all see. If you ask what sound each animal makes, he will imitate them all but the horse and dog tend to be a little more difficult for him. Lately he's been on a sheep kick, so every other time it seems like all of the animals say "baa."
So when cousin Emilie started reading the book to him, he was in heaven. One of his favorite people reading one of his favorite books - what more can a 17-month-old ask?

My kids love that book as well. We also own the "Polar Bear, Polar Bear" and "Panda Bear, Panda Bear" Eric Carle books too. They have a pre-school age appropriate board game basedon the books too. I played that with my 2 and 4 year old just last night. Merry Christmas to you and your family from ours! :)
