The Lil' Bean...

isn't really that little anymore. Mike and I had a third ultrasound yesterday and saw the baby for the last time before his/her arrival. It's amazing how big the little one is now. The technician said the baby weighs approximately 3 lbs. 3 oz. (then added, give or take 8 oz.). That's the size of four navel oranges.

Mike and I saw a very clear image of the baby's face. The eyes were closed, so we're assuming the baby was sleeping. When the tech went to take the "picture" the baby raised the arm up (as you can see below). We're holding out hope that the baby is camera shy and not a thumb sucker. We'll just have to wait and see. Everything else looks good and the baby is on target for growth. And for those of you wondering, the technician didn't tell us the sex, nor did we ask.
