Week 32: Almost 33 Weeks

My brain hasn't really been working these days and I've just about given up hope trying to keep track of this pregnancy. I had such good intentions in the beginning. I promised myself I'd keep somewhat of a journal on this blog and went on maternity leave from Wordless Wednesday in an effort to do so. Well, I'll be the first to say I have failed miserably. Hopefully when #2 actually arrives, I'll snap away just like I did when Miles was a baby.

At least I realized that I'm 32 weeks along this morning (even if 33 weeks is knocking on the door). I almost forgot to capture our bi-weekly countdown, again. It's not every day that Miles jumps at the opportunity to snap some belly pictures but today he couldn't wait.

Miles asks daily whether or not the baby is ready to "pop." To help him understand how long we have, we created a paper chain countdown for his room. Every day he pulls off a link. He told me today that the baby isn't ready but we're getting closer. I'm fairly certain that even though Mike and I are perfectly content with the time we have left, that Miles is beyond anxious to become a big brother. Girl or boy, he just wants a baby.

Oh yeah, even though we're in Bird Land, Miles and I are ecstatic that we'll be watching the Tigers in post-season action. We'll root for the O's too (as long as they aren't playing the Tigs).
