We're Having...

A boy? A girl? Who knows?! We did not find out although Mike is convinced it's a boy. I am not as certain as he is though. What I do know is that our little one has 10 fingers and 10 toes, two arms and legs, two eyes and ears, a mouth and nose. Oh, and that s/he is very active.

The heart rate was 149 bpm (Miles heart rate was 147 bpm at his ultrasound) and, according to the perionatalogist, we have nothing to worry about based on the ultrasound – the baby looks great and is doing well. However, there is a chance my new OBGYN may change my due date. Based on the measurements, our little one is due on Thanksgiving (which is what I had always thought). Since it's only a week off, my new doctor may not change it. We'll see next week. Either way we fully understand that s/he will come when they want. We were also told that the baby was a bit stubborn and active (sounds like s/he is taking after their older brother). 

Unfortunately Miles was not able to go with us to the ultrasound. We were packing up to head down to the appointment when I read the fine print of my script that said, "no children allowed." He was a little upset but was happy to be with his friends at daycare.
