Easter

I really feel like I've been neglecting the blog the last few months. I'm way behind on posts and can hardly find the time to catch up. I think the last time I wrote about MileSTONES was in 2010 and in less than two months, we'll be celebrating Miles' birthday. I guess it's always better to be late then never post. So, here are some of our Easter egg hunt pictures.

The morning of Easter was very nice. We spent the night at Nana Tedeschi's house, went to church with her and then went back to her house for a mini Easter egg hunt. Unfortunately Miles was the only little one in the house, so he did it all by himself...then again, I guess that was good for him. He didn't need to compete with anyone else for the eggs. The Easter bunny hide 15 eggs filled with money and chocolate around the living room. Miles did great. He found each one and enjoyed opening them up to see the "surprise" in them.

Shortly after Miles finished, Mike's aunt, uncle and two cousins from New Jersey joined us for breakfast. We had the usual frittata - a huge omelet.

After breakfast we packed up and headed over to Nana Roberts' house. We weren't there for more than 10 minutes when Miles got sick. He threw up everywhere. He had been sick two nights before but had been perfectly fine since. We thought it was something he ate but it ended up being a stomach bug. Mike and I cleaned up and drove home before dinner was served. It goes without saying that we were disappointed with how the weekend ended. Fingers crossed that next year goes better.
