In the few short weeks since you were born, you have completely changed our world — for the better. When your brother was born everyone told us you'll never remember life before having children. In the months leading up to your birth, we were told the same thing about having two children. And honestly, life before you is becoming a distant memory.
Maybe it's the lack of sleep. Maybe it's watching your brother pretend that he's not trying to wake you up so he can hold you and love on you. Maybe it's the way you fall asleep nestled in your daddy's arms. Or, maybe it's the fact that I cannot stop staring at you.
You complete our family. There is little doubt in my mind that you will be anything but a little sister. Knowing this makes me want to memorize every little thing about you. Every wrinkle. Every sound. Your baby scent. Everything.
Today you turned one month old. It's unimaginable how quickly you are growing. You are now 9 pounds, 6 ounces and 21 1/4 inches long. According to your doctor, you are "perfect." Your daddy and I just smiled, and your brother said what we were thinking, "I know."
