Mike and I like to break up the trip to Michigan for Miles. It's a good 8 1/2 hours, if not longer with stops. This trip we stopped in Ohio and visited my college friend Carrie and her family (love them!). We were able to see her and Nick's new home and FINALLY meet their 1 1/2 year old, Gavin. It's hard to believe he's already this old and this is our first time meeting him. It took a little bit, but Miles and Gavin quickly became friends and were chasing each other (and the dogs) around the house.
Miles didn't notice that Gavin is just about the same size as him...one day, I think Gavin will repay Miles for this choke hold "hug."
Shortly after we arrived in Michigan, we met Baby Santino. He is the son of my friend Natalie and her husband Vasili. Santino was born in January and Miles found the little guy fascinating (he loves babies).
